Best Oral Presentation Best Poster Presentation
The Best Oral award is open to those whose abstracts have been accepted as a Oral submission. It is open to all presenters, whether or not they are member states and must be an original presentation to which they have intellectual property rights. Attendee’s Choice Oral Presentation will be voted for by congress attendees to vote for their favourite oral presentation. Attendees will vote via on the congress app. The Best Poster award is open to those whose abstracts have been accepted as a Poster submission. It is open to all presenters, whether or not they are member states and must be an original presentation to which they have intellectual property rights.Attendee’s Choice Poster Presentation will be voted for by congress attendees to vote for their favourite poster presentation. Attendees will vote via on the congress app.
Jules Voncken Prize William S. Bainbridge Prize
The Prize rewards the original unpublished work of an author or group of authors belonging to the regular or reserve officer corps of the Armed Forces Health Services.

The work must relate to one of the health disciplines represented in a military environment (Medicine, surgery and other specialties, curative or preventive, laboratory, research, health logistics, pharmacy, veterinary sciences, dentistry, and nursing). The work must further tend to improve the organization of the Armed Forces Health Services or the efficiency of their operations in times of peace or conflict or relate to studies worthy of encouragement, conducted by one or several young research workers in fields having applications in a military environment.

Applications must be sent EIGHT MONTHS before the date scheduled for the World Congress of Military Medicine. Applications must be sent through the official ICMM attendee of the country of the applicant, to the following address:

The typed text must be written in one of the two official languages of the ICMM: English or French. Seven copies of the work must be sent.
The work awarded the Jules Voncken Prize becomes the property of the International Review of the Armed Forces Medical Services and will be published as soon as possible. Unless otherwise specified by the authors, the other works can also be published in the Review, after favorable advice of the Editorial Board.

The results are announced during the World Congress.

PLEASE NOTE

A presenter cannot win more than one award for a single presentation. However, if the author presents multiple presentations, each one can be judged separately for each relevant category.

In the event a single presentation is the winner of multiple categories, it is at the discretion of the Council as to how the awards will be allocated.
